Available Office Services

Individual/Family Sessions

I work with individuals and their family members who are 18 years and older.  I incorporate various methods into my work with clients, depending upon individual needs and preferences.  These treatment modalities include EMDR, clinical hypnosis, mindfulness, shame resiliency and experiential activities, such as sand tray, art, writing, sociometry and psychodrama.

Intensive Outpatient Services

There are times and circumstances when meeting once or twice per week is just not enough.  When these challenging periods arise, intensive treatment can be beneficial to address concerns in a concentrated and contained fashion.  Intensive outpatient care can be anywhere from three to 12 hours per week and is scheduled in a way to avoid disruption to work and school routines.  Intensive outpatient care generally lasts from two to four weeks.

If this is something that you could benefit from, I will work with you on scheduling and cost.  As with individual sessions, IOP treatment is customized to your specific needs, never crafted from standardized treatment plans.

**Beginning Summer 2019 I will be offering 2-day private family intensives.  These will be designed for families working through eating disorder recovery with a loved one.  These intensives will be offered monthly and advanced registration will be required.  Please check back for more information on enrollment.

Group Treatment

I offer group therapy and workshops at various times throughout the year.  Currently, I am offering The 5 Gates of Grief, a 3-day intensive workshop for those that are dealing with loss of any kind.  For more information, please download the flyer here.  This intensive is scheduled for February 28- March 1, 2020, and will be held in Newport Beach, CA.  Registration is now open and available through:

Professional Core Values & Beliefs

The following were adapted from The Social Justice Coalition of the Cambridge Health Alliance (November 2016).  As a professional, I hold each of these values and beliefs as imperative to the wellbeing of all people.  My office strives to support each of these every day, and to create an atmosphere of warmth, inclusion and acceptance.

Natalie Wood

I believe that health is a human right.

Insurance and Rates

My office does not have insurance contracts at this time.  I do offer an insurance ready invoice that you may submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement of treatment costs. Reimbursement rates vary according to insurance plan and coverage, so be sure to contact your plan's Customer Service Department to obtain details.

I do offer a limited number of sliding scale appointments.  Please contact me for details and current availability.  At times, there may be a waiting list for these lower fee appointments.

I recognize the high cost of seeking treatment and have always held a strong belief in the right of everyone to receive quality, experienced care.  As such, I work to keep my rates affordable.  Please contact me directly to discuss the details.

Cancellation Policy

I have tremendous respect for each client and their time.  As such, I ask the same in return.  My office has a 24-hour cancellation policy.  Appointments that are missed, canceled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours notice are charged at the full fee of the appointment as initially booked.  Of course, more than 24 hours notice of the need to change or cancel is always appreciated so that my office time may be used efficiently.
