Individual Therapy

I work with individuals who are 21 years and older.  I incorporate various methods into my work with clients, depending upon individual needs and preferences.  These treatment modalities include EMDR, somatic work, clinical hypnosis, mindfulness, shame resiliency and experiential activities, such as sand tray, art, writing, sociometry and psychodrama.

Intensive Treatment

There are times and circumstances when meeting once or twice per week is just not enough or there is a desire to work at a more accelerated pace.  Intensives can be beneficial in these circumstances.  Intensives are concentrated and contained periods of treatment which can last from 3-6 hours per day.  Individuals may choose to work 1, 2 or 3 days.  Intensives are helpful to work through challenging and/or traumatic material and are scheduled to avoid disruption to work and school routines.

Intensives can be part of regular care or can be stand alone care.

If this is something that you could benefit from, I will work with you on scheduling.  As with individual sessions, intensive treatment is customized to your specific needs, never crafted from standardized treatment plans.

Insurance and Rates

My office does not have insurance contracts at this time and I do not bill insurance.  I do offer an insurance ready invoice that you may submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement of treatment costs. Reimbursement rates vary according to insurance plan and coverage, so be sure to contact your plan's Customer Service Department to obtain details.

I do offer a limited number of sliding scale appointments.  Please contact me for details and current availability.  At times, there may be a waiting list for these lower fee appointments.

I recognize the high cost of seeking treatment and have always held a strong belief in the right of everyone to receive quality, experienced care.

Individual 55 minute Session Fees: $175

Intensive and Group Sessions: costs vary, please contact me to discuss details.

Good Faith Estimate

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any services provided by this office.  I will provide you with this estimate prior to the beginning of planned services. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.  For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.

Professional Core Values & Beliefs

The following were adapted from The Social Justice Coalition of the Cambridge Health Alliance (November 2016).  As a professional, I hold each of these values and beliefs as imperative to the wellbeing of all people.  My office strives to support each of these every day, and to create an atmosphere of warmth, inclusion and acceptance.

Natalie Wood

I believe that health is a human right.

Cancellation Policy

I have tremendous respect for each client and their time.  As such, I ask the same in return.  My office has a 24-hour cancellation policy.  Appointments that are missed, canceled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours notice are charged at the full fee of the appointment as initially booked.  Of course, more than 24 hours notice of the need to change or cancel is always appreciated so that my office time may be used efficiently.
